In general, <a href="../../api_c/db_del.html">DB->del</a> takes a key and deletes the data item associated with it from the database.</p> <p>If the database has been configured to support duplicate records, the <a href="../../api_c/db_del.html">DB->del</a> method will remove all of the duplicate records.
