Jupyter

About

Project Jupyter aims to develop open-source software and services for interactive computing across dozens of programming languages.

Jupyter is most known from the Jupyter Notebook—a web-based application for creating and sharing computational documents. It offers a simple, streamlined, document-centric experience that weaves narrative text, equations, plots and code in line with rich, interactive output like HTML, images, videos, LaTeX, and custom MIME types. Further, the Notebook supports over 40 programming languages, including Python, R, Julia, and Scala. The Jupyter open-source community is comprised of data enthusiasts who believe in the power of open tools and standards for education, research, and data analytics.
